10 Months Old

Sam is so much fun and is growing so fast! He is such a joy and keeps us smiling and laughing! His personality is really what is growing. He is so funny and loves to laugh. But also is very curious and loves watching people. 

He's a pro at standing while holding onto things. And is even getting brave and starting to let go and stand without help for a couple of seconds. He is really close to taking his first steps! (Not sure if I'm ready for that!)

It is amazing how someone so little can change everything about you. We are so in love with this little boy that we are smiling all the time. (Or I cry...hormones!) I love watching him learn and grow, but also hate it...it's going by so fast and I can't get it back.

32 Weeks

I have been horrible with pictures! Hopefully, now that I have a new camera I'll get better at it again! This isn't the best quality, it was taken with my phone, but you get the idea...I'm huge!

I am so ready to have this baby! I am super tired, sore and tired! I tell people I'm an elephant. (Cause, they are pregnant for 2 years!) I do love being pregnant, and I love feeling her move, but I'm ready to meet her. Vanessa moves a lot! She seems to be growing very well! I've been having dreams of delivering her for the past two weeks, so I am really hoping that means she will be early. (Not too early though) I still can't believe I'm going to be a mother of two in two months!!! I feel so blessed!!!

Baby Shower for Vanessa

My sweet cousin Ruth threw a baby shower for Vanessa and me. She did a great job and knows how to throw a party!!! :) Vanessa got some really cute clothes, and much needed blankets. 

Emily Costner made this amazing dress for Vanessa. I absolutely love it and almost cried when I opened the wrapping paper!

These pictures don't even do it justice! It's made from vintage lace.

Ruth went all out! Ruth and her brother Steve, made all the food. Ruth even made the decorations. The best part about them...they are for her room! I LOVE THEM!!!! She made 2 awesome banners. A cute 'plain' one and then one with her name! (I had to squish it together to get it all in the picture, but it's pretty big!) 

It was a great day, surround with people who mean lot to me and I love!!! Again, I am feeling overwhelmed with how much love I feel for me and my baby. I've overwhelmed with my love from Heavenly Father sending me another little miracle so soon!!! I am loving the way my life is turning out!!! 

9 months...ok maybe 9 1/2 months

Our printer is being funny, so I haven't been able to print a 9 month sign. And since Canada, my camera just hasn't been working right. (And, I am super tired!) Excuses, Excuses!!! I know!

Our sweet baby is 9 month old!! He had a great 9 month 'birthday'. We got our family pictures, went to lunch, went shopping and went to the zoo. (I've already blogged about our fun day)

Sam is a big kid! He eats everything!!! No food is safe from this kid! He is a busy boy, if you can't tell by the pictures. He is a super crawler, and can pull himself up on the furniture and walk around the room using the furniture. He is in to everything and is quickly learning what the word no means :) He finally likes bath time...thank heavens!!! He has 4 teeth, the two front bottom, and the two front top. He is currently working on a 5th.

Reproductive Care Center

On Saturday, we were able to go to the zoo for free for the annual patient party from the Reproductive Care Center. (The fertility clinic where we were able to get pregnant with Sam) I was in awe with how many people where there and who's lives have been touched by the help of these doctors. Our doctor was Dr. Blauer and there was literally a line of people thanking him for their miracles. (Including us of course!)

When you entered the zoo, if you were there for the party, the gave you a white wristband to wear. I was stopped by a woman who had seen one of the other doctors 10 years ago, and asked if I would talk with her sister about my experience with my doctor. I was more than happy to. We talked for about 45 minutes! When I told them that we got pregnant with an IUI they were shocked. They both said they never heard of it working and that the first round didn't work for her, so they were going to try IVF. (All with a different clinic) I explained to her that each time you do an IUI, your percentage goes up, until the 5th try and that Sam was our 2nd try. After our long talk, she felt that there was hope. I also told her that if she was thinking of trying out this clinic but couldn't pick which doctor, to look at each head nurse. Dr. Blauer's head nurse is Liezle and my angel. I told her that Liezle goes out of her way to make you feel like you are the only person in the world and gives 110% of herself!

We are so very thankful for this place and the work they do!

8 Year Anniversary Pictures and Sam's 9 Month

I can never pick just a few photos....so I'm sorry about yet another picture overload! 

On Saturday, Sam turned 9 months, so we thought we'd take our family/anniversary pictures that day too. Ever since we've been married, Aaron and I get a picture around our Anniversary, and since babies change the most in the first year, I like getting professional photos every 3 months. Our anniversary/family photos are so much more fun now that we have a child!!! (Sam's doctor's appointment is Tuesday, so stats will be posted than!)

There is no doubt that Aaron is Sam's Dad!! Sam is a mini Aaron!!! :)

I love my little boy so incredibly much!!! (And yes, my son's head is bigger than mine!)

Normally, Sam loves when Aaron plays with him, but for some reason he was super nervous 'playing' in the studio. I love how the photographer was able to capture these faces though!

It's been a long time since Aaron and I have been this happy!!! Since having Sam, our love has grown so much!!!
