4 Months Old

Sam turned 4 months yesterday (April 22). And he is growing like a weed! But a weed we love! ;) He is now  25.8 inches long (75%), weighs 16.5 pounds (50-75%) and his head is 16.7 inches (75%). I am always shocked to hear that he is in the 50% for weight, I feel that he shouldn't weigh so much, but he is perfect! His doctor did say that he is on his way to the 75% though.

It's getting harder to take his picture with a sign...he just wants to play with it!

Drools all the time!

And everything goes in the mouth now!

Sam is so much fun! He is super ticklish all of the sudden and he is fun to tickle! He has a great laugh and his smile is heart melting! He loves being naked, and thinks its super funny when you take off his clothes. He plays with toys a lot more, but he loves blankets the most. He likes to sleep with one around his face with his nose sticking out. Mommy is okay with it as long as I am watching, as soon as he is asleep, I move it. His personality is growing more and more too. He may look like Aaron, but he's a lot like me. (According to my mom anyway!) He is independent and a little stubborn. He doesn't think he needs naps anymore and doesn't like anything that makes him sleepy. But on the plus side, he goes to bed between 9:30-10:30 and doesn't wake up till 9:30 in the morning! We are super lucky parents! :)

3 Month Photos

On March 24, 2012, we had Sam's 3 month pictures taken. We just got them back. (Monday I will be posting 4 month stats!) Here are some of my favorites. Sam was not having it, he was super tired, and cranky. But we did get a few good ones, and of course his grumpy face, which we love too!

Sam puts his hands to his mouth when he is laughing, super cute, but hard to take a picture of his face :)

Sam also loves holding his own hands!

Sam's First Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. And the nice weather really helped! Saturday we did some shopping for yard stuff. Then Nana watched Sam, while Aaron and I went to see The Hunger Games.

For the first time since being married, the Easter Bunny came to visit us! (Well, Sam!) And he had a basket from the Nana Bunny!

Sam was so happy Sunday morning! It was like he knew there were presents for him!

The gifts were all things he needed. In the bottom of the basket, taking up most of the space is a big, soft, soccer ball. There were links, a ball with holes so he can grip it, wrist rattles, socks and a spring outfit and last but not least, another soft blanket so when mommy washes one, he still has another one! Nana's basket had another outfit for summer and tigger.

After church, we went to my Grandma Brown's for Easter dinner.

All the cousins dividing all the eggs, which were filled with quarters from Grandma! :)

After peeing all over his Easter outfit, he needed to change. We brought this shirt since my Uncle Rob is a Marine! This shirt was in one of the eBay lots of clothes I bought, and it wasn't in the picture, so we were pretty excited!

After Grandma Brown's, we went to the Sperry's Easter dinner. Totally forgot to pull out the camera! :( They had a fire going and were roasting s'mores when we got there. We talked outside for a bit and then it started getting cold, so the party was moved inside. Almost everyone left, except for J'neen and Marc, so we stayed a bit and talked with them and Mom and Dad. It was a nice quite way to end the day. Sam went to bed early, it was a busy day for him!

Our Special Day

Yesterday, April 1, 2012, was a very special day for us. We blessed Sam at my Mom's house. We were surrounded by both of our families. Aaron administered the blessing and did a beautiful job. And Sam was prefect through the whole thing. (It was also Aaron's birthday, what a great birthday present!)

Sam was great though the blessing but started getting cranky afterward. He was calm if I held him and my cousin Ruth massaged his feet!

Proud Parents!!!!!

We feel so blessed to have this spirit in our home. He is more than we could have asked for and fall more and more in love with him everyday!

I am one proud Mamma and Wife! I sure love my little family and I'm so grateful to have them in my life. I am also so very grateful for my family and Aaron's family. We are very blessed!

(There are MANY more pictures, but I will be posting them on Facebook)
