9 Months Old!

This little monkey is 9 months old already!!! Life is going way too fast! She is so expressive, that it's hard to just take a few photos, so I again apologize for the picture overload :)

Vanessa has sure turned a corner! She sleeps in her own room and in a crib! No more sleeping in the baby car seat!!!! She still gets up once and a while for a bottle at 4 AM, but it's no longer every night!!! She is a morning person, which Mama doesn't love, but she's so happy in the morning and Sam sleeps in, so it's fun 1 on 1 time! :)

She really is a Joy, and is happy most of the time. (Unless she's tired, hungry or Sam has thrown something at her) She loves to 'talk' and make noises. She adores Sam and is dying to run around with him! (Although, no crawling yet, but any day now I'm sure!) He shares all of his food with her, and we've discovered she loves salt and vinegar chips!

She has 4 teeth, the two front bottom and two front top...the two side top are about to pop though any day! She loves to munch on anything we give her. She loves graham crackers, Gerber puffs, green beans and potatoes!

She's a very curious baby, and loves to see whats going on. She does this funny thing, she likes to tilt her head down and to the side when she is looking at you. It started because she was trying to look around Sam at something and we started laughing, now she does it all the time!

Vanessa hasn't always been easy for us, but we sure love this little monkey! She is so much fun and fills our hearts with so much love! She's only been here for 9 short months, but we can't imagine life without her!

How Time Flies!!! 18 Months Already!!!!

The worlds cutest boy is 18 months old!!! (I'm not bias!) ;)

He is such an amazing kid! Everyday he does something that just makes us so proud. He really is a stellar kid! (No longer a baby) :( 

He went to nursery for the first time last week and did so good! I of course cried and checked on him 4 times during the hour and a half! He didn't even seem to notice we weren't with him. We were told he did really well. Only problem was snack time and not knowing how to drink from a cup yet...he spilled his water. :)

He's days away from talking...I can feel it. He tries to talk to me A LOT more than he use to. And he has a growing vocabulary. (He knows every different word for dog!) My favorite words he says right now are 'baby' and 'cookie' because they are so clear!

He LOVES Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on PBS. It's the only show he will sit though and has made doing things around the house and tending to Vanessa much easier. 'Tiger'

He is still growing like a weed! He is still a great eater and sleeper! Eats almost anything we give him and sleeps 10-12 hours a night! He is a night owl like his mama and like his mama loves sleeping in!

Weight: 28.4lbs. 92% (But I'm not sure this is correct, he wouldn't stand on the big scale and the baby one was jumping between 27-30lbs....I think it was freaking out about the huge child on it!)

Height: 34.5...still off the charts!

Sam is such a chill, amazing, happy, healthy, fun kid! We love him so much and can't believe that he has been with us 18 months already!!! Time is going way too fast, but we are loving every minute of this kid!!!

Vanessa is 6 Months Old!!!!

***Picture Overload! I usually do the professional pictures in a separate post, but I have both the pictures and stats ready at the same time!***

Our beautiful, funny, princess is 6 months old! She is blossoming everyday! She loves to 'talk' and LOVES to blow raspberries! She is enjoying sweet potatoes now but hates cereal...not only does it make her sick, but she just blows those raspberries the whole time, so it just goes everywhere! She is a sick little girl though. It looks like it might be acid reflex. We started medication tonight and we should know more in a week or two. She has a hard time with "solids" and has to sleep sitting up. She has a cough all the time and sounds congested after eating.

She is very chunky healthy weight wise!

Everything goes in the mouth now! :D

She has beautiful hands and feet...which she loves to put in her mouth! (Feet included!) 

Not sitting yet, she so round! She can roll from her back to her tummy unless her arm gets in the way...then she gets really mad!

She loves blankets and stuffed animals...anything super soft!

She's very curious and can't wait to play with Sam. She watches him all day and goes crazy when he includes her!

This beautiful smiles fools most...she has a bit of a temper and doesn't like being alone or left out!

Here are her professional photos. I love FotoFly and thing they do a great job. I was worried this time though, because we had a girl in training who was super rude to me and my mom. And Vanessa could tell, and didn't really like her. But she loved the woman who was helping...so we did get some great shots. (Don't worry....I let them know how I felt!)

The photographer actually asked me for help in these ones and shes looking at me! I usually don't like profile pictures, but I think these ones actually turned out!

She loves to snuggle with me and I knew it would make her happy!

She loved the beanbag and was super mad that we took her out...hence the next photo.

This one is one of my favorites! I sleep with my finger in that same spot and she was super tired at this point and wanted to sleep!

We love Vanessa so much! She brings so much joy and laughter into our little family. Sam adores her and comforts her when shes sad and laughs when she does. I am so glad Vanessa joined our family so quickly so her and Sam can be great friends!
