July 4th

We spent this Fourth of July with our friends and had so much fun! We had a BBQ with the Wilson's and Hawkley's. There were a lot of kids!!!

Aaron and Jake :P

Vanessa is a ham and loves when I take her picture!! She makes funny faces or tries to grab the camera!

After the BBQ, we went to the Sperry's firework stand for a show, plus they have a great view of the valley from their location so we enjoyed a ton of free fireworks!!!! :)

Just hanging out before the fireworks!

Sam LOVES his cousin Hannah :)

The shows about to start :)

Except for one firework almost killing us all, we had a wonderful evening and holiday!!! We sure love our friends and family :)

Sam's First Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. And the nice weather really helped! Saturday we did some shopping for yard stuff. Then Nana watched Sam, while Aaron and I went to see The Hunger Games.

For the first time since being married, the Easter Bunny came to visit us! (Well, Sam!) And he had a basket from the Nana Bunny!

Sam was so happy Sunday morning! It was like he knew there were presents for him!

The gifts were all things he needed. In the bottom of the basket, taking up most of the space is a big, soft, soccer ball. There were links, a ball with holes so he can grip it, wrist rattles, socks and a spring outfit and last but not least, another soft blanket so when mommy washes one, he still has another one! Nana's basket had another outfit for summer and tigger.

After church, we went to my Grandma Brown's for Easter dinner.

All the cousins dividing all the eggs, which were filled with quarters from Grandma! :)

After peeing all over his Easter outfit, he needed to change. We brought this shirt since my Uncle Rob is a Marine! This shirt was in one of the eBay lots of clothes I bought, and it wasn't in the picture, so we were pretty excited!

After Grandma Brown's, we went to the Sperry's Easter dinner. Totally forgot to pull out the camera! :( They had a fire going and were roasting s'mores when we got there. We talked outside for a bit and then it started getting cold, so the party was moved inside. Almost everyone left, except for J'neen and Marc, so we stayed a bit and talked with them and Mom and Dad. It was a nice quite way to end the day. Sam went to bed early, it was a busy day for him!

Canadian Thanksgiving

I love Canadian Thanksgiving! Who wouldn't!? Another Thanksgiving meal!?!?! Heck YA!

We have made Canadian Thanksgiving In-Law and "adopted" family members Thanksgiving. It has been so much fun.  This year Aaron's parents and Elisha's parents and Grandma came. Nolan, Ryan and Jake, Chante and Xander all came too. And my parents friends the Everett's came, but I forgot to take pictures after we ate.

The 24th of July

We had such a fun 24th of July! But it really started on the 23rd. I invited all the cousins to sleep over. We set up a tent outside and played all sorts of games! Apples to Apples, Capture the Flag, Uno Attack, Mafia, and more! Everyone brought their favorite sweet to share, so we were all pretty wired! Then on the 24th, we played more games waiting for everyone else to come for a BBQ. We played Nertz, and Mow. (Two family favorites!) There was a lot of yummy food and great memories! I honestly have the best family!

Jackie and Robyn did a lot to help Grandma and Me get ready for the BBQ!
Making french fries!
Our master chef, Steve!
Time to eat! :)
And of course my hunny!!!! :)

In other news, we are doing well. We have finished moving into Grandma's, but still have a lot to unpack and such. Grandpa is doing really well being home. He loves having us around and is loving the dogs. They keep me really busy, but it feels good to serve.

Aaron and I started the HCG diet on Monday (the 26th). So far so good. We are starving, but it will only be for 3 weeks. I have lost 4lbs. and Aaron has lost over 10lbs!

I hope to start blogging again more often, and start crafting soon!
