Puppies!

I am finally posting pictures of the puppies! They are about 5 weeks old now. We know we are keeping one and his name is Hawkeye. But we aren't 100% sure which one. We are about 90% sure which one.

No, I am not making my blog private...yet...I haven't had any problems so far except I feel like no one is reading. :(

Nothing special happened today. Just a relaxing, lazy, Saturday. Aaron and I slept in. (I haven't been able to do that since I started my new job.) Aaron went fishing with my Dad. They left around 2. So I decided to take a trip to Target to get some stuff to organize my scrapbook paper and supplies. When I left Target, I realized I hadn't had anything to eat, so I stopped at Quizno's. There were 3 people in line a head of me. From listening to their conversation, it was a husband and wife and the wife's sister. The sisters were ordering when another customer walked in. He was a little shorter then me, which is SHORT! He had dark curly hair and glasses and was wearing a dark blue jumper like a mechanic would wear. He stood in front of me. I sighed thinking I was going to have to get mean, and when I am mean...I am MEAN! I was thinking of things to say, when one of the ladies put her arm around me and put me in front of the short man. She told me I was next. Lucky for him, she was there....I was about to let him have it. When the ladies moved down, I stepped to the side, the short man was much too close. But when I took a step so did he. I ordered my usual, turkey, ranch and swiss...no tomato, no onions. I picked up a bag of chips. I noticed the man pick up the same kind of chips. I started to get creeped out a little. I took another step. So did the short man. It was his turn to order. He ordered a turkey and cheddar, but substituted the cheddar for swiss. I noticed that he was trying to say as much as possible to what I had said. I was now getting more creeped out. The ladies where now sitting, but kept their eye on me. I also noticed the boys working were trying to distract the short man. I quickly paid and got my Pepsi. On my way out I thanked the ladies again. The creepy feeling did not go away. I ran to my car and took the long way home in case he wanted to follow me. Even though I never saw him leave, and never saw anyone behind me. I don't know if I have seen too many movies, or Law and Order's. Or maybe it was the spirit. I will say that I am grateful my mom taught me to be aware of my surrounding and follow the prompting I receive.

Anniversary!

Today was a great day! It all started at exactly August 20, 2008 12:01 AM. Aaron took me into my office and on my chair was a dozen roses and the next two books in the Twilight series. (Which I have fallen in love with!) We finally went to bed around 1:30. We woke up around 9:30. I thought I got up before Aaron so I could read, but he was awake too. We got up and got ready to go. We went to Einsteins for breakfast. Then we went to Wal-mart and PetSmart to do some shopping...I know Wal-mart isn't really shopping. But we got much needed camping chairs. Then we went to a movie. When it was over I went grocery shopping for this weekends camping trip. Then Aaron and I went to the Macaroni Grill for diner. We were having fun coloring on the table, when the waitress came over and apologized for the food taking so long. (We didn't think that it had been long at all.) She said that the manager was bring over the food. When he gave us our plates he said the meal was on them. Cool! Free diner!! We looked at the time and it had been 45 minutes. We thought it had only been 15 minutes. We were in no rush and were enjoying being with each other. We weren't upset, but were quite happy with free food! I had written on the table "Happy Anniversary Aaron", and waitress noticed and gave us free cake! I suggest that everyone go the Macaroni Grill on their anniversary! Then we went to Boarders and picked up the rest of the Twilight series! It was been a wonderful day.

I am so grateful for Aaron. He has bee such a light in my life. I have never had a better friend. I love him with all my heart.

Summer Fun

We have had quite the week. Months ago we planned a camping trip with my family. We started this tradition last year. We always have so much fun camping with them. We planned on going up Friday as soon as Aaron got off work. So I was in charge of getting ready. We got most of it ready Thursday night except for the food and packing the car. Well as we were settling down for bed, around 11:30, Bella started having her puppies. I don't know how familiar any of you are about dogs having puppies, but dogs have a puppy an hour. So we knew we were in for a long night! I tried to let Aaron sleep as much as possible because he had to work and I didn't. The first puppy was born at 11:40. An hour later puppy number 2 was born. By this time, I am struggling to stay awake. Aaron was asleep in the living room because it was father away from Bella. After the second puppy was born I knew I had a hour, so I went and lied on the couch. Around 1:30 Bella started crying, and was getting ready for the 3rd puppy. I went in, but she kept crying, it woke Aaron so he came to check on her. As soon as he came in the room, she stopped crying and did her thing. Aaron tried to go back in the living room, but as soon as he left she started crying again. He ended up having to sleep in the bathroom. She didn't make another sound. Around 2:30 she had a forth. Puppy number 3 was a stillborn, but the other 3 are healthy and happy. Aaron got about 3 hours of sleep. I got about 3 1/2 hours. I woke up on Friday early to bring my Jeep into Big O Tires to get a new tire. When I got home I finished getting everything ready, however I couldn't pack the car, because it wasn't home. So I had to wait till Aaron got home so we could go pick up the Jeep. So as soon as he pulled in we ran to Big O. When we got home Aaron got the dogs ready...puppies and all, while I packed up the Jeep. All thous years of Tetris really paid off. We got to Current Creek about 5:30. We had a nice relaxing weekend with my family. We didn't get much sleep, but it was a lot of fun. I will do another post with pictures about the camping trip. I started reading "Twilight"...I will let you know how I feel about it when I am done...in about a year! ; )

With the new rug...

So with the arrival of the new rug, we thought it would be good to get a new vacuum. Our old one wasn't that old, and works great, however it just doesn't cut it with dog hair. It gets clogged up and then spits everything back out...gross! So we got a new vacuum that is made for dog hair. In fact the name of the vacuum is the Bissell Per Hair Eraser. I love it! I am vacuuming all the time now. And now I realize how little our other vacuum was working with the dog hair.

New Rug!

This is our new rug for our dinning room. I wanted the black one but then realized that the dog hair would show up really bad on the black, so we went with the ivory. The sunflowers match our kitchen. So we were really able to tie the rooms together! Well, it is really that new anymore I am just behind on posting. I love it so much. So does Johnathan! He loves to roll on it and when we are watching TV and not paying attention to him, he goes and lies on the rug and usually falls asleep. (Which is amazing by the way, because he usually can't fall asleep outside of his kennel!)

Our Puppies!

Here are two of our puppies. They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We have one boy and one girl.

This is me and John. He is a mamma's boy. He follows me everywhere. I have been working really hard on training him. He is a fast learner. The newest trick was roll over and it took him 5 minutes to learn it!

Here is my little sister Tricia playing with John. He loves her so much.

This is our Bella. She is our princess. We think she is pregnant, and she gets really hot. Her favorite spot is the tile by the garage door. It is the coolest place to put her belly! This is John again. I was showing my mom and sister our new tricks and they only picture we got was him sitting. But he sits so well!

Friends and Games

About a month ago we had some of our dear friends over for a BBQ and games. We all played American Idol for the XBOX, and then the boys went and played one of our favorite games, Settlers of Catan. Here are some pictures!

Personal?

So I have been wondering how personal I should be, and if people even read this. That is why I added the counter. But now I have added a poll. I know that some people who get VERY personal with their blogs, but there are others who hardly say anything. So I thought I would poll the people who do read my blog what they want to hear. Personal or not. I know that some of you will try to be funny....Bryant....but I really would like every ones honest opinion.

Counter, Roommates, and Life!

I added a counter to see how many people look at my blog, but realized very quickly that it won't be totally accurate because every time I look at my blog it counts me too! But when I last looked at the counter it said 12, and I know that I haven't looked 12 times!

Aaron and I are pretty excited! We are getting new "roommates" today. Our best friends Megan and Tyler Smith are moving in our basement! We love to hang out with them and play rockband, or play board games, or watch "Freaks and Geeks" and "Soap"! We are glad to have them live in the same house so we don't have to drive to visit, which is only bad because gas is $4 a gallon! Which I am sure I don't need to explain!

Everything else is going great! We love our new place. We have so much room and the dogs love having a yard to play in with no leash! Sorry, I still don't have pictures of the new place, and even though I can now scan pictures, our computer broke. It doesn't turn on any more. So, I can write posts at work, but I can't post pictures. :(

So now I am learning how to scan our pictures, which means....no more using the fact that we don't have a digital camera! As you can see I have added some picture of us from the beginning. You will also be able to tell we don't have a 3rd Anniversary picture. There are a couple of reasons for that. One, our 2nd Anniversary was really taken about May 2007, we were a little late. Also we couldn't afford it at the time. But good news in a few weeks we will be adding our 4th Anniversary! Time flies when you are having fun! I can't believe it's been four years! Sometimes it feels longer, and other times it is like we are just married! We are still loving every minute! Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying the new blog....I myself think it is looking good! : )

My little secret

So right now, unfortunately Aaron and I have to work both Saturdays and Sundays. My job can get pretty boring on the weekends, so here is my little secret....I go thought my friends blogs and steal ideas. But even more, I go though all of their friends blogs. It keeps me awake. I know a lot of them. I get ideas from all of them. So I just want to say thanks to everyone for putting their friends link on their blogs....and thanks for keeping me awake. I also love reading updates on everyone. Facebook is fun, but blogging is better for keeping up on each other! : )

Cool

So I am figuring this blogging thing out more and more!!! Now I have a cool new template. I had a hard time picking one though! I liked so many, but in honor of your 3 dogs, I decided on the paw print. Not that they will care or even see the blog!

Not much has been going on. We are settling in very nicely and loving the house. We are having a hard time figuring out the sprinkler system, the front yard keeps going on and off, but the water for outside is free. : ) July 4th and 5th we are going to have a yard sale and we are pretty excited about that. And hopefully soon, we will get a digital camera so we can start posting pictures!

Not too much to update on. Aaron went to the Jazz game last night. Tricia came over to hang out with me. We watched Hairspray. (Well, she watched it, I slept. I wasn't feeling good.) On Friday we went to a friends house and had an "Office" party! We were all so glad to have the "Office" back on. It was a ton of fun!



Not much else is happening. Just living life as usual.

Sorry

I can't figure this thing out. I have tried adding links to my friends blog and it didn't work. I tried several times and thought I figured it out....but obviously I didn't! I will get it someday.

In case you are wondering why there aren't any pictures....we don't have a digital camera. I am going to start getting CD's when I get film developed until we get a digital.

I know that everyone starts out their blog not know what to do, but I have had this blog for about a year and still haven't figured it out....any notes will be helpful!

Ok, so I was reading my sad little blog and realized that I am way behind!

Aaron no longer works at Lowe's. He was attacked trying to help someone, who turned out to be robbing the place. Aaron asked if he need help finding anything and the guy hit him in the head with a wrench and started to run. Aaron yelled, "HEY!" and the guy turned and threw the wrench at him and it hit him in the elbow. It hit him so hard it chipped the bone. It also bruised his side. He started to have panic attacks when he would go to work, so we started looking for something else. He now works for Frito Lay and loving it....especially the pay checks!

I still work for Marriott Vacation Club, but I am now a supervisor. Now I get to talk to all the angry owners. So I fight all day. It really isn't that bad. I mostly answer questions for other associates. Every once and a while I get to fight with a customer.

Not much else going on. We are loving the new place and we are almost all unpacked. And I mean ALL....since we have been married 3 1/2 years ago we have never fully unpacked....we are almost done unpacking the last of the boxes. It's like Christmas!!! We are finding this we have totally forgotten about. We plan on having a yard sale in July to get rid of some stuff.
